GoldenEye Inc. ("GoldenEye", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over your information.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when you create an account: your name, contact details, address, payment information, and verification documents (photo ID and proof of residency). We also collect usage data when you interact with the app — device information, app activity, and location data when the SOS feature is used.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to verify your eligibility, activate your subscription, coordinate with the licensed security provider patrolling your neighbourhood, dispatch your patrol on SOS events, process payments, and communicate with you about your account.

How We Share Your Information

We share limited information with the licensed security provider in your area (name, address, and SOS event data) so they can respond. Payment processing is handled by Stripe under their security and compliance standards. We do not sell your personal data to anyone, ever.

Data Retention

We retain account and subscription data for the duration of your active subscription and for 2 years after cancellation, after which it is securely deleted. Driver's licence and ID document photos are stored encrypted and reviewed only by our verification team.

Your Rights

Under PIPEDA and applicable provincial laws, you have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal information. Contact privacy@getgoldeneye.com to exercise these rights.

Security

We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Access to verification documents is restricted to our verification team. We do not store payment card numbers on our servers — Stripe handles all card data.

Children's Privacy

GoldenEye is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email and in the app at least 30 days before taking effect.
