These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the GoldenEye platform. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.

Acceptance of Terms

Creating a GoldenEye account constitutes acceptance of these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Cookie Policy.

The Service

GoldenEye is a technology platform that coordinates neighbourhood security patrol subscriptions. We are not a licensed security provider. Patrol services are delivered by independent, provincially licensed third-party security companies.

Eligibility

You must be 18 or older and a resident of an address within our serviced area to subscribe.

Account Registration

You agree to provide accurate information and submit valid verification documents. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

Subscription and Payment

Subscriptions are billed monthly in Canadian dollars. Your payment method is saved at sign-up but is not charged until your neighbourhood reaches its activation threshold and your subscription officially begins.

Cancellation

You may cancel at any time before activation at no cost. After activation, cancellation requires standard 30-day notice.

Service Activation

Patrol services begin only after your neighbourhood reaches its activation threshold. If your neighbourhood never reaches the threshold, you are never charged.

Emergency Services Disclaimer

GoldenEye is not an emergency services provider. Always call 911 in a life-threatening emergency. The SOS feature is a supplementary tool only and is not a replacement for emergency services.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the SOS feature, attempt to access the platform fraudulently, or use the service in violation of any applicable law.

Intellectual Property

All GoldenEye branding, software, and content are the property of GoldenEye Inc.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoldenEye's liability is limited to the amount you paid in subscription fees in the preceding 12 months.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance.
